Do you feel like your hair has just been really boring lately? Or maybe you're just looking for a change? I get it, I feel like that often, in fact only a couple of weeks ago I got my hair cut into layers because I was just so sick of it. Sometimes hair can feel like that, especially if you don't want to dye it (like me, I'm so paranoid of damaging my hair) it can be hard trying to think of different ideas to do with your hair.
Whatever it is, or how big the sort of 'update' you're thinking of is, I have included below 5 ways to update your old hairstyle for a fresh new look.

1. Look at inspiration
My 1st go to if I wat to change up my hair is Pinterest- I straight away look up hairstyle inspiration and pin away to my 'hairstyles' board (here it is-). Sometimes all you need is a new hair tutorial to freshen up your look.
2. Get a haircut
This is probably the most common way to change up your hair, but the problem is there's a chance that you won't be happy with the result and be stuck with it until it grows back. This can be risky, but if you do get a good result, it will look amazing instantly.
3. Hair accessories
Spice up your look with some new hair accesories! Maybe a headband or a statement clip, hair accesories can immediately lift your look and are no risk because even if you don't like them, you can take it out straight away.
4. Dye it
If you're really brave (not like me ?) you can even dye your hair for a completely new look, once again I recommend looking up inspiration on Pinterest and getting it done professionally as you will more likely end up with a good result than something you'll regret.
Hairtools can be great for this sort of thing. If you usually have straight hair, why not curl it? If you have wavy or curly hair, try straightening it. Hairtools are great for a fresher look that isn't going to last long if you don't like it, or if you end off liking it, it's usually fairly easy to redo.
Thanks Style Queen! I hope that this helped you out and helped to inspire you on how you're going to change up your hair- one thing that I definetely would stick with if you do decide to cut your hair or to dye it is to get it done professionally, it shows when it has been done properly or it's a home kit.
